Troubled Relationships:  How Can Jesus Help? Part Two:  Communication Jesus Style

Communication between people is one of God’s desires for us.  He created us with a single common language and a desire for relationships.  However, man’s rebellious ways tend to interfere with good communication and cause harm to relationships.   We will talk about what Jesus’ style of communication was, and how we can use His examples to help us.   Do you know that He liked silence?   That He was brave about expressing His emotions? That He believed communication should always be based on the truth?

This video will look more closely at Jesus’s way of talking (or not) to people.  Then we will focus on three problems of communication I see in the counseling office:  deceptions, expectations, and projections.  Jesus has much to say about these log-jams.

Finally, I’ll look at the tower of Babel, and what that Biblical story tell us about God’s take on communication.

Blessings,
